Funeral Services For Mrs. C. Taylor Held Wednesday

Mrs. Carrie Elizabeth Taylor, 79, died at 11:30 p.m. Monday, September 21,
1970, in a Ruston hospital.  She was a lifelong resident of the Gansville
Community in Winn Parish.

Survivors include one son, Jeffie Taylor of Dodson; two daughters, Mrs. Lela
Mae Harper and Mrs. Mary Temple, both of Dodson; one sister, Mrs. Lula Boutain
of Metairie; two brothers, Hardie Shively of Jonesboro and Wilson Shively of
Dodson; five grandchildren and four grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Siloam Baptist Church
with Rev. Bill Smith and Rev. Louis Moffett officiating.  Burial was in the
Siloam Cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home.
