The Rev. J. C. Skinner officiated assisted by the Rev. C. C. Martin and the Rev. Robert Gage. Burial was in the Garden of Memories Cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home in Winnfield. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Taylor is survived by his widow; one daughter, Mrs. Jesse Bridges of Winnfield; one granddaughter, Frances Arden Bridges, two brothers, W. M. Taylor of Perry, Fla., and Othel Taylor of Winnfield, and one aunt, Mrs. Docia McDade. Pallbearers were Pete Cole, Freddy Bennett, Orland Swilley, Dicky Heard, John G. Jackson, Bill Postle, Harper Terrill, and Bob Edwards.
