Mrs. W. V. Taylor, 74, of Olla Dies, December 23rd.

Mrs. W. V. Taylor, age 74, wife of Dr. W. V. Taylor, died at her home in Olla,
La., on December 23.  Funeral services were held at the M. E. Church Saturday,
December the 24th, conducted by Rev. D. H. Boddie of Opelousas.  A short talk
was made by Senator H. E. Hardtner at the grave.  Mrs. Taylor was an old
resident of LaSalle Parish, having been reared at Summerville, and comes form
a large and prominent family of the parish. Dr. W. V. Taylor, the husband, is
well known throughout he State of Louisiana.  He was a native of Tennessee
coming to Louisiana when a young man.  A large concourse of relatives and
friends attended the burial services.
