R. Taylor Held At Old Union Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Ann Taylor, 71, of Winnfield, member of a pioneer Louisiana family, were conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the Old Union Baptist Church of Joyce, with the Rev. St. Andrie, pastor, in charge. Assisting with the services was Rev. R. L. Daily. Mrs. Taylor, the widow of the late Rev. W. R. Taylor of Winn Parish, died early Sunday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. D. H. Kelly, in Minden, following a lengthy illness. Survivors include two sons of Shreveport, James A. Taylor and Armon P. Taylor, and five daughters, Mrs. D. H. Kelly, Minden, Mrs. Judge L. Smith, Eudora, Ark., Mrs. Bertha Wilkerson, Alexandria, Mrs. A. H. Jordan, Winnfield, and Mrs. Willis Wilkerson, Caney, Kan.; 31 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren also survive. Pallbearers were grandsons of Mrs. Taylor. Interment was in the Old Union Cemetery.
