Rites For Rev. W. C. Taylor Held At Mt. Zion

Funeral services for Rev. Willie C. Taylor, 70, were held at 10 a.m. Monday in
Mount Zion Methodist Church near Montgomery with Rev. L. O. Waldron
officiating.  Burial was in the church cemetery.

Rev. Taylor died Saturday, November 25, 1967, in a Tulsa, Okla., hospital
after a brief illness.  He was an Assembly of God minister.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary M. Taylor of Sikes; one son, W. J.
Taylor of Springhill; one daughter, Mrs. Nellie Jones of Tulsa, Okla.; three
brothers, W. D. Taylor, Oakwood, Texas, Bryan Taylor and Glen Taylor, both of
Houston, Texas; four sisters, Mrs. A. H. Vogel of Shreveport, Mrs. Jim Powell
of Vivian, Mrs. Frank Garrage of Lansing, Michigan, and Mrs. Lela Bayse of
Montgomery; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
