Brother Of Winn Residents Succumbs

Funeral services were held Tuesday for Walter C. Taylor, 40, of Olla, who died
Monday morning following a long illness.  The services were held at the New
Union Baptist Church with the Rev. Doris Dearman officiating.

Burial was in the Olla Cemetery.

Mr. Taylor was the brother of Mrs. Beatrice Netherland and Mrs. Dorothy McVay
of Winnfield.  Other survivors include his widow, Mrs. Mertis Taylor, Olla;
five sons, Johnny, Lavell, Lewis, Ronnie, and Rickie, all of Olla; and two
daughters, Mrs. Doris Cook, W. Monroe, and Miss Mary Lou Taylor, Olla.
