Funeral Rites For W. H. Taylor Held Friday

Funeral services for William Howard Taylor, 76, of Goldonna were held at 4
p.m. Friday in the Antioch Methodist Church with Revs. W. L. Fussell,
Rayford Higgs, and Grafton Shaw officiating.  Burial was in the Antioch
Cemetery.

Mr. Taylor died at the Jackson Parish Hospital Thursday, October 12, 1972,
after a lengthy illness.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Vada Taylor of Goldonna; six daughters,
Mrs. Nettie Stephens, Mrs. Lois Martin, Mrs. Doice Williams, Mrs. Ida Mae
Kelly, and Mrs. Patsy Head, all of Goldonna, and Mrs. Willie Jean Zimmerman of
Winnfield; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Barnes of Texarkana, Ark., Mrs. Liza
Disotell of McCamey, Ark., and Mrs. Lou Edwards of Taylor, Ark.; one brother,
John Taylor of Taylor, Ark.; 12 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

The grandsons acted as pallbearers.

They were Mike Zimmerman, Barry Zimmerman, Rex Zimmerman, Randy Williams,
Freddy Kelley, David Kelley, Benny Martin, and Jay Head.
