W. Taylor, 72, Tuesday Morning Walton Wright Taylor, 72 years, eight months, and 15 days of age, a retired farmer, died in a local hospital at 11:20 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 3. Funeral services were conducted at the Laurel Heights Church of the Latter Day Saints at 10 a.m. Feb. 5, with interment following in Squires Cemetery near Summerville, La., under direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home. A native of Summerville, the deceased was born May 18, 1879. He is survived by three sons, B. F. Taylor, of Winnfield, D. W. Taylor of Trout, and Davis Taylor of Kermit, Texas; one daughter, Miss Minnie Lee Taylor of Oklahoma City, and two brothers, D. F. Taylor of Baton Rouge and Ernest Taylor of Grayson, La. Pallbearers were Archie Bryant, Johnny E. Finney, James Culpepper, Melvin Connor, Walter Speed, and Jim Alexander.
