Teddlie, Sr., were held at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Nola Tracy, on Fifth Avenue at Oakdale, La., Tuesday afternoon, January 14, 1936, with Rev. James Thorne, pastor of the West Oakdale Baptist Church, performing the last rites. Mr. Teddlie, a native of Georgia, came to this state when a small boy, and has made his home in Winn and Grant Parishes since. He had been a resident of Oakdale for the past four years and was well known. Besides his wife, Mrs. Lou Teddlie, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Nola Tracy, Oakdalde, Mrs. C. E. Vandever, Kilgore, and one son, B. F. Teddlie, Jr., also of Kilgore, one brother, Lee Teddlie of Buffalo, Texas, and two sisters, Mrs. Emma Dean of Winnfield and Mrs. Ellen O'Neil, Shreveport, and a number of grandchildren. Attending the funeral from Winnfield were Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Fletcher, Mrs. J. H. Martin, and Mrs. Eugene Beck.
