All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** From: March 5, 1942 Winn Parish Enterprise Funeral Services Are Held For Miss Helen Teagle Funeral services for Miss Helen Teagle, 63, who died suddenly at her home here Friday afternoon, February 27, 1942, were held at the family residence Saturday with the Rev. H. H. McBride, Baptist minister officiating. He was assisted by the Rev. H. B. Hysell and the Rev. Alwin Stokes. Interment was in the Teagle Cemetery several miles from here. The deceased, a former school teacher, was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Teagle and a member of one of the parishes' oldest pioneer families. She was a consistent member of the First Baptist Church, a teacher in the Sunday School, and a charter member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy. Surviving are two sisters, Miss Katie Teagle and Mrs. W. R. Horton of Winnfield, and five nephews and two nieces.
