Was In The Back Yard Of Her Home When Stricken. Was Lifelong Resident Of Winnfield Survived By Two Sisters Funeral services for Miss Helen Teagle whose death was caused by a heart attack about 4 p. m. Friday, were held from the family residence on Main Street, Saturday, at 4 p. m., with the Rev. H. H. McGuire, pastor of the First Baptist Church officiating, assisted by Rev. Alwin Stokes, Presbyterian minister and Rev. H. B. Hysell, pastor of the First Methodist Church. Interment was in the Teagle Cemetery one mile west of Winnfield. Miss Teagle was in the back yard with her sisters, Miss Katie Teagle and Mrs. W. R. Horton, Sr., directing some work that was being done around the place, and stooping over to pick something up, remarked that she had a pain over her heart. She fell to the ground, and had expired before a doctor could be summoned. The deceased is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Teagle, her father, during his lifetime, was one of Winnfield's merchants. She and her sister, Miss Katie resided together, and only recently moved into their new home next door to that of their sister, Mrs. Horton. Miss Teagle was a lifelong member of the Baptist Church, and attended church every Sunday when her health permitted her to. She leaves a host of friends in Winnfield who mourn her passing. Surviving are two sisters, Miss Katie Teagle and Mrs. W. R. Horton, Sr., both of this city, several nieces and nephews, including Ensign W. R. Horton, Jr., of the U. S. Naval Air Corps who is visiting his family before going to San Diego, Calif. Pallbearers were Bryant Sholars, Walter W. Allen, B. L. Anderson, Claude R. Brock, Jewel Maxcy, and A. L. Smith.
