Last Rites Held For "Uncle" Steve Teagle, Jan. 27

Funeral services for "Uncle" Steve Teagle were held at the Old Saline Cemetery
between Old St. Maurice and Winnfield, Thursday, January 27, 1944.  The Rev.
C. M. Robinson of Winnfield conducted the last rites.  Mr. Teagle, 76 years of
age, succumbed in Montgomery, La.

Known by a host of friends as "Uncle Stevie", Mr. Teagle had for many years
made his home at Bradford's Camp on Saline Lake where he assisted the many
fisherman who came there from all parts of the country.

Surviving are one sister, Ms. Dick Briley, of Montgomery, and a number
of nieces and nephews.
