T. E. Williams and the Rev. Kenneth Tarver officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Winnfield. Mr. Teddlie died at 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 6, 1977 in the VA Hospital at Shreveport after a lengthy illness. A native of Wheeling, Mr. Teddlie was a veteran of World War II and a retired sawmill employee. He was a member and deacon in the New Jerusalem Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Charles Teddlie of Winnfield; and one son, Charles Benton Teddlie of Chapel Hill, N. C. Pallbearers were Alton McNaughton, Allard Wilson, Elmer Wilson, George Nation, Wayne Harlan, and Lamar Harlan.
