Charles Teddlie

Funeral services for Charles Ray Teddlie, 53, of Winnfield, were held at 2:30
p.m. Friday in Mars Hill Baptist Church near here with the Rev. T. E. Williams
and the Rev. Kenneth Tarver officiating.

Burial was in the church cemetery under the direction of Hixson Brothers
Funeral Home of Winnfield.

Mr. Teddlie died at 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 6, 1977 in the VA Hospital at
Shreveport after a lengthy illness.

A native of Wheeling, Mr. Teddlie was a veteran of World War II and a retired
sawmill employee.  He was a member and deacon in the New Jerusalem Baptist
Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Charles Teddlie of Winnfield; and one son,
Charles Benton Teddlie of Chapel Hill, N. C.

Pallbearers were Alton McNaughton, Allard Wilson, Elmer Wilson, George Nation,
Wayne Harlan, and Lamar Harlan.
