All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** From: July 29, 1971 Winn Parish Enterprise News-American Monroe Teddlie, 90, Succumbs; Rites At Hargis Monroe Emanuel Teddlie, 90, of Route 1, Montgomery, Hargis Community, died Sunday, July 25, 1971 at 9:55 a.m. in St. Francis Cabrini Hospital, in Alexandria. A native of Winn Parish, Mr. Teddlie was the son of the late Asa and Alice M. Jackson Teddlie and was a retired farmer. Funeral services were conducted Monday at 3 p.m. at Hargis Baptist Church with Rev. Wayne Blue officiating, assisted by Rev. J. C. Rousseaux and Rev. R. L. Moore. Interment, under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Winnfield, was in the Hargis Cemetery. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Carrie Drewett Teddlie of Hargis Community, two sons, Ardain Lee Teddlie of Houston, Texas and Lester Teddlie of Shreveport; two daughters, Mrs. Thelma Langley of Houston, Texas and Mrs. Atheleen Evans of Montgomery; two sisters, Miss Ada Teddlie and Miss Addie Teddlie, both of Montgomery; two grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
