D. "Bill" Temple, 77, of Dodson, died in a Winnfield hospital Friday, October 26,. 1962, after a long illness. She was the former Eva Marceline Taylor, native of Ward Four. Funerals services were conducted at the Dodson Baptist Church at 2 p.m. Sunday with the Rev. George Foster officiating. He was assisted by the pastor, the Rev. George W. Jones. Burial was in the Siloam Cemetery near Gansville under direction of Edmond's Funeral Home of Jonesboro. Acting as pallbearers were R. G. Simpkins, Garvin Biggs, Jr., Bobby Swartz, Norman Broomfield, J. K. Lee, and Jimmie Jenkins. She is survived by her husband, William D. "Bill" Temple, of Dodson; one son, Harold L. Temple of Dodson; one daughter, Mrs. Jesse Thornton of Winnfield; three brothers, Floyd Taylor of Dodson, Archie Taylor of Laurel, Miss., and Clyde Taylor of Ruston; five sisters, Mrs. Ben Fallin of Simmsboro, Mrs. Carl Baggitt of Shreveport, Mrs. Ethel Waller of San Diego, Calif., Mrs. T. J. Lann of Ruston, and Mrs. R. L. Logan of Jasper, Ark., and five grandchildren.
