G. C. Temple Dies In West Monroe Thursday

Grover C. Temple, 45, died Thursday, April 4, 1968 at Glenwood Hospital in
West Monroe after a brief illness.

He was a World War II veteran, a member of the Masonic Lodge, and a native of
Winn Parish.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the Cypress Creek Baptist
Church.  The Revs. Clarence Bates and L. B. Williams officiated and burial
was under direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield in Cypress
Creek Cemetery.

He is survived by his widow; Mrs. Jewell Temple of West Monroe; one son,
Ronald Temple of West Monroe; two brothers, O'Dell Temple of Goldonna and
Billy Temple of Dodson; one sister, Mrs. Earl Jones of Patterson.
