Funeral Rites For Dewey Temple Held

Funeral services for Dewey Temple, 68, of Winnfield, who died unexpectedly
early December 13, 1966 of a heart attack at his home here, were held at 2
p.m. Wednesday in the Hixson Chapel.  The Rev. Willie James and the Rev. E. B.
Barton officiated.

Burial was in the Garden of Memories Cemetery.

He was a native of Laurel, Miss., but had resided in Winn Parish for many
years, a retired machinist and a member of the Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife; one son, Edward Earl Temple of Winnfield; one
brother, Forrest Temple of Winnfield; and one grandson, Michael Edward Temple.
