F. Temple Held October 18 Benjamin Franklin Temple, 88, died Sunday, October 17, 1965 in a Winnfield hospital after a lengthy illness. He was a retired farmer. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday in Dodson Baptist Church with the Rev. C. S. Cadwallader officiating. Burial was in the Ebenezer Cemetery near Jonesboro under the direction of Edmonds Funeral Home. Survivors include his widow; one son, Judson Temple of Knoxville, Tenn.; two daughters, Mrs. Roxie Parker, Hobart, Okla., and Miss Laura Temple, Shreveport; one brother, George T. Temple, Monroe; two sisters, Mrs. Fannie Hogan, Dodson, and Mrs. Minta Gentry, West Monroe; and five grandchildren. Pallbearers were Shelby Walsh, Reubin Simpkins, Clayton Norred, Jesse Thornton, Blan Fain, and Paul Gaar.
