Mrs. D. Temple, 71, Succumbs; Rites March 19

Funeral services for Mrs. Lula N. Temple, 71, widow of the late Dewey Temple,
were held at 10 a.m. Saturday morning in the Hixson Brothers Chapel with the
Rev. Calvin Phelps officiating.  Burial was in the Garden of Memories Cemetery
in Winfield.

Mrs. Temple, a resident of Winnfield, died Thursday afternoon, March 17, 1972.

Survivors include a son, E. E. Temple of Winnfield; two sisters, Mrs. Betty
Banister of West Monroe and Mrs. Katie Williams of Grayson; and one
grandchild.

Pallbearers were Morris Burkhart, P. K. Smith, Glenn Smith, Jack Shelton, Al
Lauret, and Conrad Swilley.
