R. Terral, 93, of Dodson, Buried Thursday, March 7 J. R. Terral, 93, life long resident of the Dodson Community, died at his home at 5 p.m. Wednesday, after many months of illness. Funeral services were conducted Thursday, March 7, at 2:30 p.m. at the Dodson Baptist Church with Judge Cas Moss of Winnfield officiating. Burial was in the Transport Cemetery. Nephews of the deceased acted as pallbearers. Mr. Terral (Uncle Shep), was born and reared one mile east of Dodson and spent his entire life in the community where he farmed and raised livestock. He and Mrs. Terral celebrated their 69th wedding anniversary on Feb. 23, 1957, an interesting report of which is printed elsewhere in this newspaper, which gives more information about his long and useful life. Mr. Terral is survived by his wife of Dodson; two sons, and three daughters: Mrs. Martha Anderson, Monroe, Mrs. Paul LeBlanc, Baton Rouge, Mrs. Clifford Moffett, Jennings, Mrs. Eloise Gilmore and George Terral, Dodson, and James Terral of El Dorado; 20 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren.
