B. Terral Passes Away at The Age of 73 Last Rites For One of Dodson's Oldest Citizens Held At Transport Cemetery Mrs. Cordelia Terral, one of Dodson's oldest and most honored citizens passed away Wednesday, Nov. 18. Mrs. Terral had been in failing health for some time. She was stricken only a few hours before her death from which she never regained consciousness. She was administered to with loving care but quietly slipped away surrounded by her family and loving neighbors and friends. Mrs. Terral was before her marriage, Miss Cordelia white of the Hickory Valley Community. She was married to William Terral December 1882 and moved to their home about two miles east of Dodson, at which place they lived 49 years. To this union 8 children were born, 4 boys and 4 girls. The boys all preceded their mother in death, Leon being an infant while Martin, Ellis, and Chester reached young manhood. Mrs. Terral leaves to mourn her passing, her husband, W. B. Terral, and four daughters, Mrs. W. C. Walters of Dodson, Mrs. Arah Guillory of Merryville, La., Mrs. Rose Watts of Jonesboro, La., Mrs. Louise Managan of West Lake, Louisiana, and a number of grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Mrs. Terral will long be remembered for her beautiful Christian life. She united with the Baptist Church when quite young and remained true to her convictions. She was a charter member when the Dodson Baptist Church was organized. She was a faithful member of the Eastern Star, which organization held a beautiful and impressive ceremony at the home, members of the Winnfield, Jonesboro, and Dodson chapters taking part. The Rev. L. V. Fortenberry of Robeline had charge of the funeral service in which he paid tribute to her beautiful Christian life. The body was interred Friday morning in the Transport Cemetery.
