Terrill were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 3, 1996, in the First Baptist Church with Dr. Calvin Phelps officiating. Interment followed in the Garden of Memories under the direction of Southern Funeral Home. Mr. Terrill, age 86 of Winnfield, died at 11 p.m. on Monday, July 1, 1996, in the Mathews Memorial Nursing Home in Alexandria. He was a member and deacon of the First Baptist Church, retired as manager of Milam Dept. Stores in 1970 after 43 years. He was elected Winn Parish Tax Assessor in 1970 and retired in 1985. Mr. Terrill served as a member of the Board of Directors of Winn State Bank and Trust Company, was a member of Winnfield Rotary Club and was a Paul Harris Fellow, Rotary International, and was a member of Eastern Star Masonic Lodge No. 151, F. & A. M. Survivors are his wife, Wilma Adams Terrill of Winnfield; one son and daughter in law, Jimmy and Mary Terrill of Alexandria; one sister, Frances Swor of Little Rock, Ark.; two grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Bill Davis, Ted Finn, Scott Terrill, A. B. White, Troy Lynn Smith, and Tommy Straughan.
