Miss Thames' Funeral Held At Mount Zion

The Rev. J. A. Jones Has Charge of Funeral Services

Funeral services for Miss Mamie Thames, 54 years old, who died at the family
residence in Montgomery at 3:20 o'clock Friday afternoon, April 28, were held
Saturday at Mount Zion Baptist Church, near Atlanta, under the direction of
the Rev. J. A. Jones, pastor of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church.  Burial was in
Mount Zion Cemetery.  Morgan Brothers of Montgomery were in charge.

Miss Thames is survived by her mother, Mrs. C. W. Thames and her brother,
Henry Thames of Montgomery.
