Miss A. Thompson Buried Monday Near Tullos

Funeral services were held Monday, October 22, at the Tullos Baptist Church of
which she was a member for Miss Anna Thompson, 67, who was drowned in Castor
Creek, near her home on the Winnfield-Tullos highway Sunday.

A resident of the community for many years, the deceased resided in the family
home.  Burial in the family cemetery near Castor Creek took place at 3 p.m.
Monday.

The deceased is survived by one sister, Mrs. Harry Coffer, of Joinerville,
Texas; three brothers, Barlow of Jena, Atman of Olla, and Oscar B. Thompson
of Tullos, and many other relatives throughout Winn Parish.
