She was the wife of a Sikes native and she and her husband were co-owners of Thompson's Market on Main Street, Baton Rouge. Mrs. Thompson was a native of Ruston and she and her family formerly resided in Columbia. Funeral services were conducted February 5 with burial in Greenoaks Cemetery, Baton Rouge. Surviving are her husband, Hester T. Thompson, Baton Rouge; one son; four sisters, all of Ruston, and a brother, Dr. W. S. Harrell of Bogalusa.
