Last Rites Held For S. P. Tannehill Here Wednesday

Funeral services for Sidney P. Tannehill, 65, who died April 8 at the home of
his sister, Mrs. Edwina Hale, on the L & A Hill, Winnfield, were held
Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Hixson Funeral Home.  Dr. W. L. Holcomb officiated. 
Burial was in the Winnfield Cemetery.

Acting as pallbearers were James Mallard, Elmo Frazier, Jr., Mickey Frazier,
George Porter, Ebb Machen, and A. D. Luther.

Mr. Tannehill, a native of Winn Parish, was a painter by trade.

Survivors are three sisters, Mrs. Edwina Hale, Winnfield; Mrs. Sinia
Whitecotton of Shreveport, and Mrs. John O'Laughlin of El Dorado, Ark.
