C. Thompson of Tullos, Killed In Auto Accident Saturday Mrs. N. C. Thompson, 25, of Tullos, La., died at the Charity Hospital in Pineville between 11 and 12 o'clock Saturday night, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident, which occurred between Tullos and Jena, early Saturday night. It was reported that Mrs. Thompson and one of her children and O. B. Thompson, Jr., of Winnfield had been to the picture show and were enroute home when the accident occurred. A truck was parked on the side of the highway with no lights on and as they approached the truck, the lights from an oncoming car blinded the driver of the Thompson car. Dr. W. L. Murrell, Rapides Parish coroner, rendered a verdict to the effect that the unfortunate woman came to her death from a fractured skull and internal injuries as a result of an automobile accident. O. B. Thompson, Jr., received cuts and bruises about the face and hands but the daughter of Mrs. Thompson was reported uninjured. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon in Tullos and interment was made in the Winnfield Cemetery. Mrs. Thompson is survived by her husband; two children, Marlene and Norma Sue, and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. O. Brackman, all of Tullos.
