Funeral Services Mrs. Thompson Held At Sikes

Funeral services for Mrs. Horace Thompson, 60, of Sikes, who died in a
Sulphur, La., hospital, February 27, after a long illness, were held Sunday,
March 1, at the Sikes Baptist Church, with Rev. W. C. Hall officiating. 
Burial was in the Thompson Cemetery near Sikes under the direction of Southern
Funeral Home of Winnfield.

Survivors are her husband; two sons, James C. Thompson of West Monroe and W.
R. Thompson of Sulphur; two brothers, Ray Thornton of Eros and Marshall
Thornton of West Monroe; two sisters, Mrs. Effie Usrey of El Dorado and Mrs.
Stanley Branch of Sikes; and two grandchildren.
