Thornton Infant Buried At Union Saturday

Funeral services for Alma Delois Thornton, 2 year, 9 months, and 29 days of
age, who died at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hilton Thornton at
Joyce, Saturday morning, following an illness of 17 days with influenza and
meningitis, were held at Union Church Sunday with the Rev. Charlie Townsend in
charge.  Interment was in the Union Cemetery.

Surviving besides the parents are three sisters, Odessa Mae, Janet, and Flora
Lee.
