Lucy Thomas

Services for Lucy Thomas were held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in the Truevine Baptist
Church with the Rev. Jerry Johnson officiating.  Burial was in Winnfield
Cemetery under direction of Winnfield Funeral Home.

Mrs. Thomas, 84, of Winnfield, died Wednesday, June 22, 1988 in Humana
Hospital-Winn Parish.

She was a deaconess of Truevine Baptist Church.

Survivors include one son, Wiley Thomas of Winnfield; three daughters,
Mary Starks of Winnfield, and Irene Powell and Carrie Brown, both of Huff
Smith, Texas; 14 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and two great great
grandchildren.
