Dr. Calvin Phelps of First Baptist Church in Winnfield officiated. Burial was in Transport Cemetery near Dodson, La. Mrs. Thompson, 65, died Saturday, November 7, 1987, at her residence after a long illness. She was a native of Dodson, the daughter of G. C. and Rilla Anders Moore. As a long time resident of Winnfield, she served from 1964 until 1979 as Winn Parish Deputy Clerk of Court. Survivors are one son, James Cully Warren, Jr., of Schwienfurt, Germany; one daughter, Jan Warren Wallace of Ft. Worth, Texas; one sister, Mrs. Dorothy Tumlin of Jonesboro; and four grandchildren, Cleste and Chris Warren and Michelle and Ryan Wallace of Ft. Worth. Pallbearers were David Tumlin, J. W. Tumlin, Jr., Kenneth Parker, K. M. "Mickey" Simmons, Donald L. Kelley, and B. R. Audirsch. Honorary pallbearers were Jesse O. Anders and J. W. Tumlin, Sr.
