C. J. Thompson, 80, Buried At Mars Hill Wed.

Charles J. Thompson, 80 years old, died November 16, in Alexandria.  He was a
resident of the Hargis community.

Funeral services were held November 18 at 11 a.m. at the Mars Hill Baptist
Church with burial in Mars Hill Cemetery under direction of Hixson Brothers
Funeral Home.

Survivors are three sons, C. E. Thompson, W. N. Thompson, and G. L. Thompson,
all of Montgomery; one daughter, Mrs. Martha Quaid of DeRidder; one brother,
Harrison Thompson of Dodson.

Pallbearers were George Shelton, Lavelle Thompson, Gerald Shelton, Otho
Simmons, Richard Shelton, and Bryant Farrow.
