Last Rites For Mrs. A. Thopson Held At Sikes 

Funeral services for Mrs. Amanda Parker Thompson, 84, who died suddenly at her
home on Laurel Street, Winnfield, December 2_, 1961, where held at 2 p.m.
Wednesday at Hixson Funeral Home Chapel.  Dr. W. L. Holcomb and Rev. R. H.
Staples officiated at the last rites.

Burial was in the Thompson Cemetery near Sikes under direction of Hixson.

Acting as pallbearers were H. C. Thompson, Harlan Thompson, Thurman Shell,
Homer Smith, Dalton Martin, and C. O. Roberts.

Mrs. Thompson, a lifelong resident of Sikes and Winnfield is survived by one
daughter, Mrs. Alma Walker, Winnfield; two grandchildren, Mrs. J. J. Crippen
and Mrs. Alton Martin, and two great grandchildren, all of Winnfield.
