Infant Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. P. Thompson Dies

Funeral Services Held Sunday at First Methodist Church

Marlene, the four months old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Parker Thompson, died at
the home of her parents here Sunday morning, at five o'clock, December 10,
following a four days illness with colitis.  The infant was born August 7,
1933.  Funeral services were conducted at the First Methodist Church Sunday
afternoon at four o'clock, with the pastor, Rev. Ellis Smith in charge. 
Interment was in the Winnfield Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Reggie Gates, Troy Smith, John Robert Gilcrease, and Harper
Terrill.  Surviving Marlene are her parents and one sister, Wallace Jean, who
is four years old.

Mrs. W. E. Patrick of McGeehee, Arkansas, sister of Mrs. Thompson, Mrs. C. A.
Baldridge and daughters, Lucille, Aline, and Mrs. Harry Nolan of Alexandria
attended the funeral in addition to a large crowd of friends and relatives who
reside here.
