C. Thompson, 83, Buried Sunday At Sikes

Funeral services for Charlie Thompson, 83, of Sikes, were held at 2 p.m.
Sunday at the Sikes Baptist Church with the Rev. Willie James officiating.

Burial was in Sikes Cemetery.

Mr. Thompson died Friday, April 14, 1967 in a local hospital after a long
illness.

Survivors included one son, Gerald Thompson of Alexandria; two daughters, Mrs.
Charlene Wooley of Baton Rouge and Mrs. Dorothy Mills of Springfield; one
sister, Mrs. Nancy Kennedy of Breckenridge, Texas; and 10 grandchildren.
