Last Rites For Mother of Mrs. R. E. Taylor Held

Mrs. Mary Ellen Green Thornton, mother of Mrs. Russell E. Taylor of Winnfield,
was buried in the Ashdown Cemetery, Ashdown, Arkansas, on August 3, 1971.  She
was 80 years old.

She was the wife of the late Thomas Dewitt Thornton and was a native of Erath
Co., Texas.

Surviving her are two sons, four daughters, two brothers, one sister, 21
grandchildren, 53 great grandchildren, and 15 great-great grandchildren.
