Gertrude Lelan Thom

Gertrude Lelan Thoms, 84, of Port Arthur, Texas, died at 1 a.m. Monday,
February 15, 1982 in Hardtner Medical Center after a lengthy illness.

She was a member of St. Mark Methodist Church, Port Arthur, Texas, and the
Order of the Eastern Star.  She was a retired teacher.

Survivors include one son, Dr. James E. Wood of Winnfield; two grandchildren
and three great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 17, 1982 in Green
Lawn Memorial Park, Port Arthur, Texas, with local arrangements under
direction of Southern, Winnfield.
