Mrs. Thompson Succumbs; Rites At Mt. Zion

Funeral services for Mrs. Myrtle Thompson, 65, of Olla, were held at 2 p.m. 
Monday at Mt. Zion Methodist Church in Montgomery with the Rev. M. C. Cady 
officiating.

Burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Montgomery under the direction of Southern 
Funeral Home of Winnfield.

Mrs. Thompson died Saturday, April 17, 1976 at Concordia Parish Hospital in 
Ferriday after a lengthy illness.

Survivors include two sons, Eugene E. Thompson of Vidalia and J. T. Thompson of 
Olla; one sister, Mrs. Victoria Luther of Atlanta, La., and five grandchildren.
