Former Resident Of Dodson Dies In Florida

Graveside services were held Sunday, February 9, 1975 at 2 p.m. in Ruston for
Mrs. Jimmy Thomas of Pahokee, Florida, the former Sarah Pankey, daughter of
the late Dr. and Mrs. ?. H. Pankey, former residents of Dodson and Ruston.

Rev. Merlin Merrill, pastor of United Methodist Church, in Ruston, officiated
at the service.

Mrs. Thomas, a retired school teacher, died in a West Palm Beach hospital
after a short illness.

Survivors include her husband, Jimmy Thomas of Pahokee, Florida, two brothers,
Oschler Pankey of Rogers, Arkansas, Joe Pankey of Ferriday, and three nephews.
