Thomisee, 48, of Monroe, was dead on arrival at a Monroe hospital at 2:15 p.m. Saturday, August 26, 1972. She was a native of Dodson. Survivors are her husband, Joseph James Thomisee of Monroe; a son, Charles Ray Barnett of Bay St. Louis, Miss.; six daughters, Mrs. Billie Desselle of Baton Rouge, Mrs. Bobby Jean Palmer of Rosefield, Mrs. Azalea Maupin of New Roads, Mrs. Joy Gayle McManus of Tioga, Mrs. Pinkey Mae Jenkins of Rosefield, and Mrs. Patricia Mayo of Georgetown; a sister, Miss Gloria Jean Barnett of Marksville; two brothers, Billy Barnett and Donald Barnett; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wilse Barnett of Pineville; and 13 grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Pineville. Burial was in Lincecum Cemetery, Georgetown.
