All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** From: February 11, 1971 Winn Parish Enterprise News-American Fire Victim Buried Feb. 4 At Old Union "Jack" Thetie Theopolis Taylor, 56, victim of the fire near Olin Plywood Plant Monday night, Feb. 1, was buried at Old Union Cemetery, Winn Parish, in last rites conducted at the church at 10 a.m. that morning. A native of Winn Parish, Taylor was the son of the late Rev. and Mrs. T. V. Taylor, well known in this area where they spent most of their lifetime. The Rev. Mr. Allen of Jonesboro officiated. Survivors include two daughters in Pennsylvania; five brothers, B. G. Taylor of Winnfield, Arthur and W. E. Taylor of West Monroe, Robert Taylor of Rayville, Wavion Taylor of California; four sisters, Mrs. Nettie Gilbreath of Brownwood, Texas, Mrs. A. B. Downs and Mrs. Audie Street, both of West Monroe, and Mrs. Vaudie Pardue of Chatham. The deceased had been a recent patient in the Winnfield General Hospital and had just been released from a hospital in Shreveport, according to a sister of the deceased.
