Rites For Mrs. E. Thurmond Held At Calvin Church

Mrs. Ella Thurmond, 80, of Calvin died Friday, July 19, 1968 at 10 p.m. in
Winnfield Hospital.  She was a member of Calvin Baptist Church.

Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Sarah Lynn Brock of Calvin; one son, Everett
Thurmond of Calvin; one grandchild, Nancy Brock of Calvin; one sister, Mrs.
Lois Thomas of Winnfield; two brothers, O. R. Everett of Winnfield and Walter
R. Everett of Pineville.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday in Calvin Baptist Church with Rev.
N. T. Smith of Monroe officiating.  Burial was in Mount Lebanon Cemetery at
Gibsland under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.
