Charlie E. Tilton

Services for Charlie E. Tilton were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Mt. Zion
Methodist Church.  Burial was in the church cemetery under direction of
Southern, Winnfield.

Tilton, 92, of Winnfield died at 9:45 a.m. Monday, December 8, 1986 in Humana
Hospital, Winnfield.

Survivors include two sons, W. O. Tilton of Ville Platte and O. K. Tilton of
Montgomery; one daughter, Dee T. Smith of Sarasota, Fla.; three brothers, Otis
Tilton of Shreveport, and Marcus Tilton and Archie Tilton, both of Elizabeth,
La.; one sister, Mrs. C. C. Merchant of DeRidder; seven grandchildren, 13
great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
