Sister Of Area Resident Dies; Rites Held Thurs.

Mrs. Francis Ruth Tims, 43, of Jonesboro, died Tuesday, May 12, 1970, in a
Shreveport hospital following a lengthy illness.  Funeral services were
held at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Southern Funeral Home Chapel in Jonesboro. 
Burial was in the Old Rayhmer Cemetery.

Survivors include her mother, Mrs. Virginia T. Pardue of Jonesboro; two sons,
John B. Tims of Montgomery and James R. Tims of Jonesboro; three brothers,
James D. Pardue of Shreveport, Doyle B. Pardue of Shreveport, Clarence E.
Pardue of Fairbanks, Alaska; one sister, Mrs. Ruby Hayes of Winnfield; one
granddaughter.
