Crash Victim Had Relatives In Winn

Funeral services were held Tuesday for Shefford E. "Shep" Tison of Shreveport,
native of Dry Prong, who died in a plane crash near Ruston, Sunday, while
returning from a hunting trip in Madison Parish.

Mr. Tison was married to the former Doris Barton of Olla.  She is the sister
of Mrs. Clifton Stewart of Winnfield and the niece of Mrs. E. W. Evans,
Winnfield.

Mr. Tison's mother, Mrs. Katie Bell Tison, resides in Dry Prong.

He was an assistant vice president of Allstate Investment Company of 
Shreveport, a home financing organization.

Another Shreveport man, C. C. Wallace, died in the crash.

Mr. Tison was a Mason and Shriner and member of the Eastern Star.

Attending the graveside services at the Frazier Cemetery in Bentley were Mrs.
E. W. Evans, Mrs. Clifton Stewart, Mrs. Neva Erskins, and Frank Barton of
Winnfield.
