Tolbert Succumbs After Long Illness Mrs. Louisa Tolbert, 84, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Charles Risher, on the Atlanta highway, Tuesday, February 3, at 10:35 p.m., following a lengthy illness. Funeral services were held from the home of another daughter, Mrs. G. C. Barton, 205 Elliott Street, Thursday at 1 p.m. with Judge Cas Moss in charge of the services. Interment was in the Sharon Church Cemetery near Sikes. The widow of the late R. G. Tolbert, the deceased had resided in Winnfield for the past 17 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Effie Stubbs, Mrs. Bessie Risher, Mrs. Jane Barton, and Miss Lessie Lee Tolbert, all of Winnfield; two sons, Henry of Winnfield and Lawrence of Winnsboro; one brother, Leggett Walker of Monroe, and one sister, Mrs. Lizzie Tolbert of Sikes.
