B. Thompson Dies With Lockjaw Raymond Thompson, 3 years, 5 months and 20 days old, died in the Baptist Sanitarium in Alexandria Sunday, May 13, 1928 at 3:30 p.m. Raymond, son of Mr. and Mrs. O. B. Thompson of Winnfield, was playing the game of "stickup" with several other boys in the yard of his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Wood, Tuesday of last week. Accidently he stuck the stick in his knee. Complications set in a few days later and he was carried to the sanitarium Saturday. He took lockjaw Saturday afternoon and died Sunday. The little boy is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. O. B. Thompson and two brothers, O. B., Jr. and Martin. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 3:00 o'clock at the family residence. Rev. A. H. Cullen, pastor of the First Baptist Church officiated. Interment was in the Winnfield Cemetery. Among the out of town relatives attending the services were Misses Anna and Verta Thompson and Mrs. Will Kofer of Castor; Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Thompson, Mr. and Mrs. Atman Thompson, Mr. and Mrs. Keif Kofer of Tullos, and Sam Wood of Marshall, Texas.
