W. L. Thompson Buried In Shreveport Sunday

Funeral services for W. L. Thompson, age 43, brother of Mrs. Matt Milam, Mrs.
Leonard Allen, and Mr. Parker Thompson, of Winnfield, were held in Shreveport
Sunday with interment in the Forest Park Cemetery.

Mr. Thompson was a resident of Shreveport and died in the sanitarium in
Kerrville, Texas, Friday night with hemorrhage of the brain.  He had been in
ill health fourteen years as a result of a car wreck.  Dr. George Sexton,
president of Centenary College, and the Rev. Brownlee, pastor of the Noel
Methodist Church, conducted the services.  There were many beautiful floral
offerings.

The deceased is survived by his wife and three daughters, Marcelite, June, and
Beverly; three sisters and three brothers.

Winnfield relatives attended the funeral services.
