Father of Mr. H. L. Turner Dies at His Home in Hodge

Elice F. Turner, 61 years of age, died at his residence in Hodge last
Thursday, February 25, 1937.  Surviving are his wife and nine children, Mrs.
L. B. Hammons, Kolin, La., H. L. Turner, Winnfield, W. Turner,
Sterlington, La., C. C. Turner, A. R. Turner, Luther Turner, John L. Turner,
Miss Audrey Mae Turner, James M. Turner, of Hodge; six grandchildren and one
great grandchild; two brothers, J. I. Turner of Dry Prong and A. D. Turner of
Bentley; two sisters, Mrs. P. Cryer, Bentley and Mrs. H. B. Smith, Dry Prong.

Funeral services were held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, February 26 from the
residence with interment in Oak Grove Cemetery near Colfax, Louisiana.
