Clyde E. Townsend

Services for Clyde E. Townsend, 78, of Montgomery, were at 2 p.m. Friday
in the chapel of Lakeview with the Revs. Bob Hollis and Earl Townsend
officiating.  Burial was in Summerfield Cemetery.

Townsend died Wednesday, December 1, 1982 in St. Frances Cabrini Hospital,
Alexandria.

He was a retired pipefitter and was active in Montgomery senior citizens'
organizations.

Survivors are two sisters, Mrs. Randy Williams and Vern Hickman, both of
Montgomery.

Pallbearers were Warren Ferrier, Clinton Ferrier, Gene Ferrier, Nelson
Ferrier, and Raymond Ferrier.
